Keiser / Keizer / Kizer of Lunenberg, Nova Scotia

I'm looking for some help with locating information on Lewis Alexander Kizer of Lunenberg, Nova Scotia. I know he married Emma Barbara Creaser in 1893 and they had 5 children. My grandfather was the youngest of the children (Charles Lewis Keiser) born 1900 also in Lunenberg. I also know Lewis Alexander Kizer's father was GF Edward Kizer born in Lunenberg 1832 and he was married to Issabell. From what I have learned both Lewis and Emma died in the early 1900's.

Most of the information I have is from my grandfather's papers. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated.

Bill

Hi, Bill, just took a quick peek at some info on Lewis Alexander Kizer and I found the following:

1871 Census -- Edward Keiser b. circa 1833, Eunice Keiser b. 1841, Rufus Keiser b. 1863 died in 1875 and Lewis Keiser b. 1869.

1880 marriage record -- "Edmund" Keiser, widower, son of Peter and Catherine married Isabell Creaser b. 1850.

Lewis Alexander Kizer's marriage record to Emma Creaser lists his parents as Edward and Eunice. Lewis & Emma's first born daughter was named Eunice. Given the age difference between Eunice and Isabell, and records indicate two different names for the wife of Edward, I believe that Eunice was in fact Lewis Keiser's mother. Rufus' death record also indicates that his mother was Eunice.

Hope this helps a bit!!
