NEW MINAS - Dorothy Katherine Schofield, 79, or New Mians died Oct. 6 in Eastern King's Memorial Hospital, Wolfville.

Born in White Rock, she was the former Dorothy Katherine Schofield, a daugher of the late Carmel and Mary (Corkum) Schofield.

She was a member of White Rock United Baptist Church and White Rock Community Club.

She is survived by two sons, Glen, White Rock; Roscoe, Port Dufferin; a brother, Aubrey, Massachusetts; four sisters, Mrs. Minnie Mosher, New Minas; Gertie (Mrs. George Brown), Ora, (Mrs. Walter McKinley) and Millie (Mrs. Aubrey Hennigar), all of Greenwich and 6 grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lawson Schofield; two brothers, Pierce and Hedley and a sister Etta.

The body was at H. C. Lindsay Funeral Home, Wolfville, where funeral was Oct. 8, Rev. Gary Manthorne officiated with burial in White Rock Cemetery.
