Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
Terry,
May I ask you what's your source for Eliza Fuller? I am a direct descendant of Thomas LOCKHART and Eliza.

Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
At this very moment I don't have that info. I am waiting for some books to arrive and I'm hoping the info is in them.

Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
Hi Jess I'm a 2c4r of Eliza Fuller. I don't know who she married. If she did married Thomas Lockhart I can't find the source. My source of this info comes from a book called Horton Point A History of Avonport by Gordon M. Haliburton. But it doesn't mention Thomas Lockhart. It does mention Thomas Otto Lockhart b.1904 d.1984 that is all I have. If you would like to share your info that would be great. Terry Toronto

Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
Hello,
I seem to be reserach the same family.
Sydney Smith Gould had a daughter, Edith, whose daughter Elizabeth was my grandmother. I have been working on the Goulds and Lockharts for the past few years. I had not found this info regarding the town crier position held by William Gould... Please let me know how far back you have managed to get! Would love to share info. Alison

Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
My great-grandparents were James Edward Lockhart (B 1832) and Emeline A. Fuller (B. 1842). I am so confused by the repetition of these names. I am looking for parents of both.

Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
Hi Deborah
I got in James Edward Lockhart parents were James b. 1791d.1858 and Rebecca Borden. b. 26 Feb. 1796 in Cornwallis. Emeline Fuller parents were Lemuel Fuller but can't find the mother's name. sorry Lemuel Fuller was b. 4 Feb 1779. d. 30 April 1871. The book is called Tangled Roots 1709-1985 Descendants of John Bishop of Horton, Nova Scotia. Hope this helps Terry Toronto

Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
Thanks so much, Terry. That gives me another thread to follow. Also appreciate the Borden reference. My Mother said there was a Borden connection, but I could not see where.

Re: Elizabeth Fuller m. Thomas Lockhart
I see this thread died out in 2005 and I am hoping someone is still working on this and has some updated info on Thomas Lockhart 1808 - 1908.
I am stuck and can not find his parents..
The only information I found that might have me stuck is that Thomas may have been born a Lockyard, not a Lockhart.
