Wanted to share an exciting discovery made today. Found a deed that mentioned Samuel NYE and his wife Betty, from Tolland, Tolland Co., CT selling a piece of dike land in Cornwallis to Abraham WEBSTER. Book C3, pg 31, Forgot to write down the date, but likely around 1793. Oh, it was land that Betty had inherited from her father Samuel BREWSTER.

Does anyone have any Nye information that might include the family of Samuel NYE and wife Elizabeth "Betty" BREWSTER b. 14 Nov 1768?

I also have a land transaction between Chester NYE of the Township of Columbia in the county of Tolland, CT who sold land near Woodville, Kings Co., N.S. in 1839 to Enoch WOOD. That property could be part of Samuel Brewster's woodlot grant, so I believe Chester NYE may be a descendant of Samuel and Betty. Haven't had any luck locating them in a brief look online.
