Just curious.. but how did you find out Angus was a police officer in Halifax? When I search records I can not find anything on any of Alex's siblings nor parents. Maybe its just me! :)

I would love to see Nova Scotia, from what little I have seen, it does look breath taking. What, in your opinion, would be the best time of the year to visit? Funny you mention Cabot trail.. on Alex's immigration papers (crossing into the U.S.) it states something about a "Cabot" being his address.

I think I shall repost a "McLellan" thread, maybe one in the Inverness portion and one in the other county, where his enlistment papers came from. Hopefully , I will have some luck!
