Re: Charlotte and Thomas DICKSON Family, lived in Kennetcook
My information from an ol timer of the Gore area is that Charlott Dickson was a Kilcup. That the old lady Blois from that area was her sister also a Kilcup. I have nothing to verify this at this point.

Re: Charlotte and Thomas DICKSON Family, lived in Kennetcook
Hi all,
Oliver Dixon did marry Ada Clark and had 2 sons who survived based childhood. One of those sons is my father. He is the last of the sons from Ada and Oliver.
Since Jamie has pointed out that the paternal line for my grandfather seems to ends with a Mary and unknown Reynolds man, I've concentrated on Mary Laffin. Her history is quite through and through various lines can be traced back for SEVERAL centuries and through some very interesting noteworthy individuals. I'm not sure of the authenticity of the information but between GENI and Ancestry the links seem to be solid.
My question is the information related to Mary Laffin and Levi Dickson. Jamie, can you point to a reference for your information. It's tantalizing the story but I'm curious to the reference material. Could you share?
Thanks Darren
