Hi Mary Jane,
My Great Great Grandmother's death certificate was finally released this month, on it her parents are listed as Nathan Brown & Hannah Brown both born in Nova Scotia. At this point I am thinking it is to coinscidential that several of Nathan and Hannah's children are listing Hannah Brown as there mothers Maiden name on there death certificates what do you think? Re: Hannah 'Brown' Brown....wife of Nathan. Do you think you could find an obit on her as she is buried in Bramber, I think, or Kempt, and died 1936???? Seems someone should have remembered her and mentioned sisters or brothers. Since you are one generation closer to her am hoping you have more connections or clues. I do think it could be a coincidence, but wouldn't like to count on it. The reason being I already have a Brown family from Kings Co. and had collected all those Browns at one time. Do we know who Nathan's father/mother were??? Mary Jane

I believe the family you're looking for is Caleb (note the proper spelling) and Fanny. Fanny is a common nickname for Frances. Her maiden name was Mosher. Fanny is the daughter of Allen Mosher and Esther Wilcox. Allen Mosher is the son of James Mosher and Lydia Allen. They had Caleb, George, Sally, Fanny, Esther and Benjamin. You can find this info on the Mosher Family Chronological History website.

Fanny Mosher is the daughter of Allen Mosher & Esther Wilcox. Esther was born 1762 in Kempt, Hants County and Allen was born about 1758 in Newport, Hants County. Allen is the son of James Mosher and Lydia Allen.Lydia Allen was born in Rhode Island, New York, about 1735. Don't know who her parents were. James Mosher was born about 1735 as well, in Rhode Island, New York.If you go to the Chronological History of the Mosher Family website, you'll find the info there. Unfortunately, there's not alot of dates on the website, so you'll have to use the LDS website to find births and marriages.

If you have more information on the Crowells, I'd love to hear it. The name of the park on the Cape is called the Shawme-Crowell State Park in Sandwich Massachusetts, on Cape Cod.
Don Crowell is related to me, through my mother, also a Crowell. I believe he'd be my great uncle. I would love any information you have.
