LUMSDEN, Alden Benjamin - 95, 113 Rutledge St., Bedford, passed away on December 31, 2005, at home. Born in Canso, he was a son of the late Benjamin and Estella Mae (Dort) Lumsden. He is survived by daughters, Roberta, Bedford; Carol, Bedford; son, Gerald (Nellie), Canso; grandchild, Robert, Red Deer, Alta. He was predeceased by his wife, Alice; brothers, Gerald, Colin and Albert. Visitation will be held 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in T.K. Barnard Funeral Home, 1216 Bedford Highway. Funeral service 2 p.m. Tuesday in Bedford Baptist Church, Rev. John Porter, Rev. Dr. Ida Armstrong-Whitehouse and Rev. Nelson Metcalfe officiating. Burial in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Sackville.
