DORT, Beverly Roy - 93, Woodside, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on December 29, 2005, in Ocean View Manor. Born in Woodside, he was a son of the late Edgar and Ruth (York) Dort. Bev was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed cooking, gardening and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughters, Marilyn (Sherwood) Norman, Doreen Duncan; son, Paul (Jennifer) Dort; sister, Sadie MacDonald; grandchildren, Lease Holstead, Lee-Ann MacLean, Karen Duncan, Stephanie Dort, Jeffrey Dort, and a loving companion, Olive Kilgar. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Dorothy Conrad; several brothers and sisters; a great-grandchild and a son-in-law. No visitation by request. A private graveside burial has taken place. Memorial service will be held on January 3, 2006, at 1 p.m. in St. Alban's Anglican Church, Woodside, with Rev. William Sheppard officiating. Family flowers only.
