MacPHERSON, Weldon Calvin - 83, died December 29, 2005, at home. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Bellefountaine) MacPherson. He was a veteran of the Second World War, serving overseas with the Merchant Marine Service. He is survived by his wife, the former Muriel DeBay and her family Judy (Gordie) DeWolfe, Cape Breton; Doreen (Gary) LeBlanc, Eastern Passage; Ralph (Susan) Gore, Eastern Passage; Sherry (Rickie) Mattie, Eastern Passage; Albert (Cathy) Gore, Cole Harbour; Kelly (Paul) Lettice, Cape Breton, and their children; sisters, Shirley (David) Irvin, Falmouth, and Pauline Bullock, Lower Sackville. He was predeceased by sisters, Gloria, Dolly, Patti and Marion. Visiting will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday in Eastern Passage Community Funeral Home, 5 Cow Bay Rd., Eastern Passage, from where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Rev. John Ferguson officiating. Burial will be in St. Peters Cemetery, Eastern Passage.
