BERRY, Donald Orenzel - 92, Halifax, passed away peacefully Monday, June 19, 2006, in St. Vincent Guest Home. Born in Yarmouth, he was a son of the late Sylvanus and Lillian (Sisco) Berry. Donald was predeceased by his brothers and sisters. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was a man with a vibrant faith in God. He became an active member of Faith Tabernacle in the late 1960s. Don used his musical gift in active ministry there and on the "Faith & Music" television program for a number of years. Don traveled extensively using his musical gift to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, from 2-4 p.m. in Faith Tabernacle, 6225 Summit St., Halifax. A memorial service will take place Friday, June 23, at 2 p.m. in Faith Tabernacle, Halifax, with Rev. Bill J. Wozney officiating. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Halifax, will follow the service. At Don's request, memorial donations may be made to Faith Tabernacle, Halifax.
