WAMBOLT, Verlie May - Promoted to Glory on July 8, 2006, having celebrated her 100th birthday June 30, 2006. A native of Dartmouth, she was a resident in recent years at Dykeland Lodge, Windsor. She was a lifelong member of The Salvation Army Dartmouth Corps. She was predeceased by parents, Henry and Minnie (McDow) Wambolt; sisters, Mary, Rita, Charlotte, and Dorothy (Jewers); brother, Henry. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 11, in Lindsay's Windsor Funeral Home, 194 King St., Windsor, Captain Sean Furey officiating. Interment to follow in Mount Hermon Cemetery, Darmouth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dykeland Lodge or The Salvation Army.
