Where did you get your information that Elizabeth Murphy was from Killkenny? Was Thomas also from there? I'd love to be able to document this and then do research in Ireland if I have the right information. Thanks

Still searching for Murphy's of the Eastern Shore. Want to document if Tom and Elizabeth are indeed from Killkenny.

I'm also a descendant of Thomas and Elizabeth Murphy. You say they were from Kilkenny. Would love to see your documentation for that bit of information. I've heard it before but can find no documents for it. Two years ago we were able to go to the lovely town of Kilkenny and to the castle. I wish I would have known more than and I would have tried to look them up.

Charles Alonzo Murpy and Ruben “Robie” Douglas Murphy were brothers. Charles was my G grandfather so Robie would be my GG uncle. I see the connection.
Rick You sent me a lot of information several years ago. I'm still searaching. Would love to know where the original Tom and Elizabeth came from.

I am a descendant of the Murphy`s from Murphy`s Cove, Halifax County, Nova Scotia and I have some information dating back to Thomas Murphy, 1779. My great grandfather was William Edward Murphy (1831) , whose father was James Douglas Murphy (1804). I have other information about the children of those families as well. My grandfather was William Alexander (1879) and my father, William Roy (1922). Hope this helps.
