My wife's mother was a DeLouchry (Delouchry). My understanding is that the original Michael Delouchry (1761-1831) was from Kilkenny and married Mary Smyth in Newfoundland and moved to West Chezzetcook. I am only aware of two sons, John and Dennis, born in West Chezzetcook. The only thing I know about Dennis is that he was married and had 10 children, one of whom was also named Dennis. My wife's family is descended from John Delouchry and Catherine Bauld, who are the parents of the Dennis Delouchry who married Isabel Munro. My wife's is descended from his brother, James Delouchry who married Catherine Sullivan. (I would mention that my great grandfater's brother Joseph Higgins and his wife Ellen Power were the witnesses at their wedding.) I would be glad to compare information on the Delouchry's if you are interesed. my email address is higginsdg@hotmail.com.
