I am researching information on my husband's Grandparents. They were George F. Piers b. 5/26/1897 and Myrtle E. MacDonald b. 12/28/1900 both are from Halifax, N.S.
His father was Ernest Piers and his aunts and uncles were George, Hilda, and Ella Piers
Her father was John Mac Donald
I'm assuming their parents were born around 1870-1880
I'm also curious to know any history about Irish and Scottish/English immigrants into N.S. around that time period. My side of the family also immigrated there. They are the Pattons and the Sullivans. Several still reside there.
Thank you for any help you can give to me.
