Sorry Terry,
I am having a lot of hip pain and my meds make me type abit wrong.
I meant 1881 as the year of baptism.
I do not normally type with errors.
Karen

Karen,

Fellow researcher, James B., emailed me about burial records for Lewis James Hutt d. 1882, Catherine Hutt d. 1873, Eleanor Hutt d. 1861 plus spinster Laura 'Hudd', daughter of Lewis, 24 years, d. 1880 located at the RC Holy Cross Cemetery in Halifax. He is going to photo if there are headstones. He also found obit for Detective/policeman Lewis Hutt d. 9/22/1882 buried 10/3/1882, leaving wife and 3 children: I assume "children" refer to Johanna Hutt Shortell b. 8/25/1847 & Susan Hutt Morton (b. 1855 d. 1922)) (daughters of Catherine and Lewis) and James Louis Hutt (b. 9/19/1881 d. 6/3/1958) (son of Eliza Martin and Lewis). ALso found Shortells in 1901 Halifax Census.

FYI: Susan Hutt Morton was godmother to my mother Rita Hutt b. 1920.

I do not see you email address or would forward his messages directly to you.

Regards and thanks,

Terry

Hello Donna,

I believe the above Henry Cooper is my great uncle. (my great grandfather is Anthony Cooper) I have in my records that Henry was born about 1835 and married a woman named Sarah but I don't have her last name. Just that she was born about 1837 and died after 1873. They had 8 children that I can find.

Thanks,
Susan
