Does anyone know how extensive/complete the earlier records are for Saint John, Bathurst or NB/Nova Scotia? I am trying to find some birth & death records from the later 1700s to about 1815 but I have turned up surprisingly little online----does anyone know what or how much of the records are not on-line (ie non-transcribed or in bound books, microfilmed, etc.)? ---or if much still even exists from that early period? Thanks.
