I believe that there is an another son of William Smyth (Smith) and Eliza Faircloe whose name is James. James married Martha Rhude whose Son Stephen Bamford married Emma (Annie) Waters whose son Gideon married Mary Clark. Gideon and Mary's daughter is my grandmother. I thought that the William and James were born in Ireland, moved to Nova Scotia in or around 1820. Does this fit in with your family history?
