Hi Jared. James Everett info is somewhat confusing, but here is what I believe. James himself died 1810 in Digby and is possibly buried there under the name John Everett. His son James is the one died in the ship at age 19. Jeremiah, son of James the Loyalist, lived to age 98-99-100 depending on what you read. Seems like there were James and Jeremiahs every other generation. Reason the James who died in the ship didn't have land is that he was only 19 yrs. FYI I am descended from Thomas Everett & Bathsheba Sands Everett, parents of James the Loyalist. I have that family back to Richard Everit of England(b. abt 1613?)and forwards to myself. I have also been in contact with the Adm. Digby Museum in Digby and they have given me some good info.We really need to find what ship he came to Nova Scotia in! Thanks, Jared, and feel free to contact me directly.
