I am looking for any information on William and Margaret Smith who lived near Felix Deveau in the very early days of Salmon river. I know his daughter Marie Elizabeth Prim (why she carried her mothers name I do not know) married Jean Baptiste Comeau jr in 1814 in church point or liittle brook ns. They had a son named Luke who married a Magdeline Hiltrude Guillault also from Salmon river. They had several other children between 1800 and 1810 who all died but I have no specifics other than the notes from the census taken by Father Signogne 1823-1829. They are one of the missing families from the 1818-1823 census. The only other clues I have is that he was a soldier in the war of 1812 and a year maker or wool carder in 1800. Any info appreciated.
