Mr. Lucien Belliveau, who was injured on the Lillian Blauvelt by the shears slipping and falling on him about four weeks ago, is quite well now.

We understand that Father Blanche formerly at the head of the faculty of St. Anne's College, Church Point, is in New Brunswick, and is to pay us a visit soon.

Clare should bestir herself and have a Township Exhibition. There is much to be gained from exhibitions and they act as incentive for push and energy amongst farmers, mechanics, in fact in all trades or callings. An agricultural society should be formed.

Potatoes are coming in fast. Capt. Cosman and Hon. A. H. Comeau are buying heavily for foreign markets. The potatoes this year are of exceptionally fine quality, and quantity is large.
