Brennan, MacPherson are familiar, as is the Shortt family. I will look into this info. My mother, Pauline Carter, wrote a history of Pleasant Valley, so I'll check with her, and the book. I'll also check with Jerry Brine who's mother was Mary Shortt. She was Lewis Shortt's daughter and Francis Shortt's grandaughter.

What info in particuar are you interested in? What puzzle pieces are missing? And, last question, where do you live? (What happened to your family "after Pleasant Valley"?)
