I am going over some of the Dart info now. (As a result of our emails, Jane Wile has asked me to review her Dart/Dartt information. She wants it accurate too. If we all put our heads together, then we'll start to close most of the gaps. Turns out she is connected to the Darts, too!) I'm also snooping through Nelson stuff for you. I can remember when Harlan died, even the day of the funeral. It seems to me Pleasant Valley, its people, even the landscape, had a shocked, sad, quiet feeling. I'll never forget it. My Mom says that Harlan would help anyone, and was especially helpful lending a hand moving stuff for local school/community activities. I can also remember one time when his cows got lose and ran through Mom's clothes that were hanging on the line! I was very young and had a good laugh over that scene. One of my brothers and I still laugh about it more than 40 years later. Who says cows don't wear clothes?

Do you know your Nelson cousins in Alberta? Desendants of Scott Nelson? Or Harlan Kennedy, a wonderful friendly fella who is from Pleasant Valley? He'd have some Nelson, Dart and Pleasant Valley stories for you!

I'm also looking into your Bruce History. I believe Florence and/or her people, came from Hilden which is just north of Brookfield, towards Truro.
