Hello. I need help please.
I have tried endlessly to find the resting place of this man.

His name is James L MacBurnie
He was born Nov 15, 1883 in Tatamagouche, Colchester county, Nova Scotia. I'm not positive on the birth place, as it may also be Brule Shore, Colchester co., NS. _ one or the other.
He married: Bessie May Sabean of Port Lorne, Annapolis county, NS on Jan 31, 1911 in Boston, Massachusetts.
Now, sometime before Feb 1918, James and Bessie divorced, as I have proof that Bessie remarried.
Now, James and Bessie had 2 sons; Norman Elvin and Francis Linton.
James did not raise these boys after their mother died, and I don't know why. They grew up with other family members in Port Lorne and St. Croix, Anna co., NS.
Now, I cannot find James whereabouts after the marriage to Bessie. I found a military document with the same name for 1915 ...but I cannot confirm that that's him.
I do not know if he remarried, I don't know if he went off to war and died? I don't know where he is buried, let alone what happened to him. I'd like to see the family at peace knowing what happened to him.

James MacBurnie's parents were:
William MacBurnie 1832-1923 and Martha Jane Studivan 1852-1925

Thank you for any help at all.
Maureen
