In reference to a message posted (January 27, 2005) stating that Thomas Cail was the father of Frederick Thurrott is definitely not true. Frederick's grandson Wayne L .Thurrott has done a ( 37 Y-DNA TEST) also (AUTOSOMAL DNA TESTS) there was only 1 Cail surname to compare the (Y-DNA TEST) no match. In comparing the (AUTOSOMAL DNA TEST) with 10 Thomas Cail descendants, one of the descendants paternal 3rd grandmother was Thomas Cail's sister, (none of the descendants) had any shared DNA with Frederick's DNA. Frederick's paternal origins are Northwest Irish (Ulster), supposedly Thomas Cail's paternal origins are (English).Thomas and Frederick's paternal origins don't match. On another Ancestry.Com message dated (March 7,2004) it stated that Frederick's father was Carruthers, his DNA did not match Frederick's ,so he is ruled out as his father as well. Frederick's DNA paternal markers match surnames O'Kane,McCain, Cain Kean, and other variant spellings also matches the surname Malloy. This should put a end to speculation as to who Frederck Thurrott's father was, that it was not ( Thomas William Cail) nor (Carruthers). we may never know who Frederick Thurrott's father was, only that he was of (Irish origin ) maybe in time connect to a paternal surname.
