Thought I should point out a mistake was made in a transcription from the parish registers to the birth index many use from the NS Vitals website.

The middle names were accidentally swapped between two James Camerons who were born in Colchester during 1869 which has caused many to follow the wrong genealogy, though the two are related.

James Arthur Cameron was actually born 11 Jun 1869 on the River John Road. Parents are Peter Cameron and Eleanor Haymond (Hayman).

James Alexander Cameron was actually born 05 Dec 1869 at Waughs River. Parents were Daniel Cameron and Anna Belle Hyndman (Hayman).

The father of James Alexander, Daniel Cameron is a son of Donald Cameron and Eleanor Hayman while James Arthur's father, Peter Cameron is a younger brother of the said Donald.

I have Massachusetts marriage records for both which state the proper birth dates and parents as well as family stories from those who knew them both which confirm the mistake in the birth index.
