My Mother was Annie Elizabeth McCready; her sister was Mary; the older sister who raised the children after their mother passed away. Annie and Mary were survived by a brother who was last heard to be in Galt Ontario. I would love to know of any children my uncle may have had. Father to Annie Elizabeth and Mary was Charles; and Charles was married to Florence Chisholm. There is a great deal more history on this family.

My father was one of the McCreadys from McCreadyville. He was a son of James and Agnes McCready, born in 1905. His mother died at a young age as well. He was brother to John, Stephen, Esther, Helen (Nellie), Margaret, Tina.

I'm sure we are cousins, thump :) It looks like the families all kept the same christian names going....John, James, Charles..I know they distinguished who they were talking about by adding the middle name..i.e., Charlie Francis.. Nice to be in touch! One of my dad's brothers, John, had no children. Stephen had a son and a daughter.

Hi there
My name is Kim Nicol (nee Little) and I am currently trying to research my fathers family history which is proving very difficult. I am new too ancestry.com so I may well be going about it all wrong.....
For some reason (and forgive me if I am wrong) I came across a post of yours which seems to have a lot of common strands
I am trying to make connections for my grandmother - Agnes McCauley McCready. The McCauley is spelt this way on my dads birth cert but different in other places. Ths information I have is that she was born in 1908 and resided in Innerleithen (and Paisley) Scotland. There was a period of time where she resided in Ontario Canada I think I have record of her leaving in 1927 and returning in 1935 - According to my dads birth certificate she married my grandfather - George Little in Canada before returning to Scotland in 1935. My eldest Uncle (Alexander McCready Little) was born in Canada along with my aunty May - possibly even one of my other Uncles (Robert George Little)
I have that Agnes was born on 19.02.1908 - however this came from a shipping record and to date I have not been able to find a birth certificate
So that is my story in brief and I would love to know if there is any light you are able to shed on my grandmother or if she is connected to your branch of the family tree.
Thank you in advance for your help and apologies if I have it wrong and have got it wrong
Have a nice day
Regards
Kim Nicol
