Wallace Norman, 23, single, Carpenter, born Liverpool, NS, parents Charles & Josephine, married Ada Bankman, 24, widowed, born Bridgetown, Annapolis Co, NS, parents George & Ellen, on Oct 19 1901 in Bridgetown. Ada's maiden name was Taylor. This was obtained from their son, John Wallace Norman's death certificate, 1950.

Found a marriage record for John Norman, 61, widowed, born in NS, parents Wm & Sarah, to a Dorcas Mcgowen, June 30 1883, Liverpool, Queens Co, NS. She was also widowed. Not sure if this is your John or not.

Found birth & christening record on www.familysearch.com for a John Norman, born 28 Feb 1822, christened 4 May 1826, Christ Church, Shelburne Co, NS, parents Wm Norman & Sarah.
Marriage record John Norman to Mary about 1851, Liverpool, Queens Co, NS.

I hope some of this information helps you out.
