Re: MARCHE FAMILY- A bit of Info
Do you happen to know who the parents of Josephine Marche are? There seems to be a lot of secrecy around this woman.

Re: MARCHE FAMILY- A bit of Info
Hello, My great grandfather was Jimmy Marche and Sarah Marche nee MacDonald was my great grandmother. They were my fathers grandparents. I have been looking for the same info on my great grandparents. My grandmother was Margaret Marche - daughter of Jimmy and Sarah Marche - married to Patrick Penney . The Marche family resided in Campbells Creek which was , at one time , just called The Creek. My grandmother Margaret Marche apparently born in the Sidney N.S. area. My uncle John James Penney was , also , born in Sidney , N.S. area. I can get both dates of birth if you need them at this point as I note your post was dated 2009- you may have secured this info and if so could you be so kind to pass it along to me for my file. There is some suggestion there may be a conection with the Young family of Petit Bra'dor, N.S. and First Nation people of that area.pls. contact me w/ any info you may have...regards and good luck...Glen

Hi Louise Ridley,
You are related to me... my name is Jocelyne Côté and my mother is Clara Marche, born in Stephenville NF...daughter of Albert Marche & Helena Brown. Albert died in 1933 or 1934 and Helena died in 1946 in Halifax NS. They had 4 girls: Anna May, Geraldine, Clara and Marie. My mother is still alive and remembers her aunt Amelia married to Simon Schump. In 1968 my parents and I went to visit her. My Mom always called her Aunt Millie... I have some information I can send you if you like. On my part I am looking for my grand-father Albert's death certificate and also my great grand-parents (John Marche & Clara White) marriage certificate... if you have some information on your part, that would be greatly appreciated...
