Ralph Somander was my grandfather, Hazel was his sister. Moses George was their father of course. Moses was first married to Sarah Sheppard who died in child birth of Uncle Isaac. He then Married Emma Jane Drover from Blaketown, Nova Scotia, and they had 13 more children: Susannah, Miriam, Melina, Hazel, Gertrude, Ella, Ronald, Baxter, Ralph and Harold (identical twins), Emma, Elsie and Myrtle. Ronald died when he was 12 of the spanish flu and my father, Ronald Melvin, was named after him. My Grandfather, Ralph, was married to Effie Darrigan.

Mose's parents were George Sheppard and Susannah Vokey and George's parents were Henry William Sheppard and Julia Porter. George moved to Lark Harbour Nfld, from Spaniards Bay, Newfoundland.
