I have managed to find lots of information on the names referenced above but couldn't resist your posting. My family names, in Newfoundland, originate in the Lower Island Cove area but did certainly spread out.
This has been a wonderful list with a lot of great people ready and willing to help. Many of these names are so intertwined with each other through marriage it is almost difficult to tell who is who. It is like that old song "I'm my own grandpa"!

Hi Lynette,
I've had a look at my FTM file and none of those names appear. They might be in my rough notes, but it will be a while before they are transferred to my computer. Once I've had a chance to input the info, I'll take another look for your relatives. I'll also post a message on the forum once my data is all tranferred to my website.

Hi Sandy,
I have had a look and I don't have any Bryant-Clarke connections. I don't have a Noah Clarke. I have a Mary Bryant(born/baptised 1865 of John Bryant and Mariah Chislett) and a Mary Bryant (married to John Stephenson).
I probably do have their relatives as I have many Bryants and a few Clark(e)s from the area. Also, my Aunt (now a Bishop)is a Clarke from Heart's Desire, she might have more info. ( I haven't interviewed her yet, so my little bit of Clarke info is from her mother in-law). Can you provide more information? Parents? Siblings? Other marriages? Children?
Any little bit of info might help make a connection.
Hope to hear from you again.
Regards, Jennifer

Hi Sheila,
I just came across a bunch of new Reid stuff, once I've added it to my PAF file, I'll post the info on my website and let you know via this forum.
Is your information online? It might help me in putting together the Reid family as my notes are from scattered sources and have some conflicts.
Any help appreciated, Jennifer St. John's, NF

Hi Lynn:
Good to hear from you! Actually, my Critch line comes from Broom Cove, Bay de Verde through Hant's Harbour to Lower Island Cove to Shoal Harbour (now Cavendish), Trinity Bay. It all began with Nathaniel Critch born before 1770.
I've had a quick look at my database and all my notes and don't seem to have a Charles for that date. I haven't checked my census files yet. I might have Charles by another name. If you have spouse, child, or sibling information we might be able to make a link.
Four Charles' that do appear in my notes are:
Rueben Charles 1892 of Ann Critch (out of wedlock) William Charles 1895 of Mary Jane Critch (out of wedlock) John Charles 1922 of Jacob and Eunice. He m(1). Edith H. Risley m(2). Annie Carter Charles Steward 1942 of Alex and Minnie Ann. He m. Dora Higdon
I'm currently transferring my notes and those from another researcher to a PAF file and will post it on my website. I'll post to this forum when the website is ready.
I hope we make a connection.
Regards, Jennifer

I realized this is a little north of the area you outlined, but do you have any information on the Critches of Hant's Harbour, particularly Charles Critch, born around 1850?
Thank you.
