1800's Hant's Harbour - Thomas and John Ellis

I am researching my husband's family (Ellis) originally from England and settled in Hant's Harbour around 1826. Thomas ELLIS(b.1804) and Charlotte ANDREWS(1805-1891) were his gg grandparents. I am hoping to connect with someone to verify where in England Thomas and his brother John may have come from. There is one Family tree on Ancestry.com that claims they came from Blean, Kent, England. Does anyone know if this is true?

Thomas was my ggg grandfather - via his son Charles. Where does your husband fit?
In the info I have it merely states Thomas and John came from a small community in the south of England. I would also like to know the exact place.
A few years ago I was given a massive document on the Andrews line. If you contact me at mariedett@hotmail.com I can share the info I do have about the Ellis and Andrews connections.

My husband is related to John Ellis. I do not know wherte the brothers originated prior to Newfoundland. Some say Wales and some say England. ANY information you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
