The date 1831 was the one I used because that was the date of birth of the first child of either brother that I know. Please try to contact me at norine.macintyre@ns.sympatico.ca for more details. Thanks

Hello Tish!

You have a Richard Tobin marrying a Dorothy Ryan. What is the timeframe for that couple?

I know so often siblings from one family married siblings from another. I have a Richard Joseph Charles Tobin (b.abt.1880
in ONT.) who had an older sister, Julia Tobin (b.abt1874-Ont.) who married a Ryan (don't know his first name). Does your
Dorothy Ryan have any brothers?(who might have married Julia).

Julia & Richard's parents were:Joseph Tobin(b.abt 1847-Ire) &
Anastasia Walsh (b.abt.1846-Ire.). The 1891 Census had the family listed as living in Madoc,(Hastings Co.),Ontario...near Peterborough. (Three of Richard & Julia's siblings married Kehoe siblings.) They were Catholic.

Hi Patti
I was told that the Richard Tobin that married Dorothy Ryan was from Witless Bay. I don't have any siblings listed for him but I was told that his parents names were Thomas Ryan and Bridget maiden name unknown. Richard had an uncle named Lar Tobin. This information was provided to me by Margaret Norcott-Murrin. I have to contact Margaret to clear up some information that she sent me and I'll see if she can help you in any way. Thank you for replying to my message and I hope this is of some help to you. Until next time, good luck.

I am Lucille Noriis Kelemen, daughter of Jack Hugh Norris and Catherine Anne Wunderle, granddaughter of Aloysius John Wunderle and Lucille R Gabele of Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Charles August Wunderle and Elizabeth Eink. Do not know if any of you are there but would really like to compare notes and correct any errors. Check my family tree "Kelemen Family". Email is posted.

Hi. Returning your inquiry on Norris. I eventually found out that this family was not one I am connected to, however, I have forwarded your message to a friend who I think can give you the entire Wunderle/Eink line information. Hope it helps you. Carol

Your great-uncle was my grandfather's half brother. My great grandmother was Mary Ann Puddister who was widowed by Martin Vickers and later married my great grandfather Benjamin Carew.

I am still tracking my Tobin family in Nfld. and the Eleanor Denny you mentioned I think was a sister to Jane Denny who married our Robert Tobin here in C.B. and the Micmac story was passed down here too. Please be in touch.
