Sorry the picture is of my husbands father George son of John Henry. Yes you did send me on of Albert. Really appreciated it. If you would like the one of George I can send it.

Nice to be back just retired so I will have time now to work on the family trees.

I think I still have your email but they keep changing the sites.

I am from Gambo. My grandfather moved up from Greenspond, year unknown. I was born in 1946, and my father told me that all the Saunders in NL are decended from 5 brothers who left England *200* years ago. That would place their arrival in NL at abt 1750. Actually 2 came to NL, 2 went to australia and1 went to either Upper Canada or America. So my father Leonard was youngest son of James, son of Benjamin. That would take it back to the later 1800s

Hello Juanita

My husbands family were from Terranceville and then lived in Grand Bank his name was John Henry Saunders married to Easter Williams, he worked on boats going to the states after a trip somewhere around 1918 he never returned home. His family then moved to live in Cox's Cove, Bay of Islands. My husband was born on the West Coast in 1922, John Henry was his grandfather. He had a brother Albert Do you know the names of the two brothers who came here first I have a George born between 1840 - 1860 I think. My husbands father was also called George.
