I have a Jno (John?) FLOOD (b. 1846) in Holyrood South. He was married to Mary Ann _____ (b. 1871). They had at least one daughter named Mary FLOOD (b. 1891) who married an Andrew NASH (b. 1889). Can anyone help me identify to which family Mary Ann _____ (b. 1871) was connected?

Do you by any chance have a Catherine Flood? I have Catherine marrying Phillip Kirby. Problem is that I was told these Floods came from Ireland in 1861. Could be wrong or they could be cousins or something. I would say that Catherine and Phillip would have lived in the Holyrood area.

Catherine Flood Kirby is from my side of the Flood family;daughter of Edward Flood & Elizabeth Moore. Edward's father John Flood came over from Ireland in 1782.

Hi there, this John Flood you speak of, came over from Ireland in 1782, that would make him too old to be Edwards Father (whom Edward was born in 1844) There is anothe rJohn in between tyhis Edward and John from Ireland, whom is John Flood Born 1815 in St. Johns, Newfoundland Death 14 JAN 1892 in Holyrood, Newfoundland whom was married to
Catherine Fewer
Born 1817 in Chapel's Cove, Newfoundland, Canada, Death28 FEB 1861 in Holyrood, Newfoundland.
Edward is my GG Grandfather, John is My GGG Grandfather, My problem is trying to link the John Flood you mention whom came to Newfoundland in 1782 to the John Flood whom married Catherine Fewer and had Edward amongst a few other children.
