Seeking information on Kathrine Jane SAMMS born 1852 died 1917. She married William ROBINSON and they had a son Benjamin, born about 1882. They lived at York Harbour in the Bay of Islands but may have came from Codroy or the southwest coast. Kathrine's parents may have been Benjamin SAMMS and Deborah.

William lost at sea 1902.Catherine Jane burried at Lark Hr.
Ben,Stephen,Reuben and Mary Ann were their children.Mary Ann married George Kendell and returned to Codroy area.the Robinsons of Coxs Cove are from John,brother of W. More info available.

The Katherine Ann Samms for Benjamin was born in 1843 and married Thomas Gallop from Codroy. They had one child that I know of in Mary Jane bron in 1870 Codroy.

I have seen Catherine b in the 1860's before but maybe John Samms and jane Collier daughter but not a fact. I am still looking for the Samms connections here.

Hi Ray , I just found your post from 2006 so thought i would try to reach you anyway .My greatgrand parents were James Organ and Mary anne Samms {of Codroy } , I think she may of been the daughter of Reuben and Sarah Samms .
