Hi Shona......nope,can't help at all. I searched my documents for Moulton(no luck) and then just Burgeo(no luck). Sometimes a note might say "married a man from Burgeo", for example.#####I have 235 pages on Point Verde/Placentia Green(e)s. Your Mary Catherine could well be related, but I have no evidence of anything. We have lots of Marys and lots of Catherines....but I'd need a lot more to go on. The fact that they were married in St. John's could have some meaning, because that is not far from Point Verde/Placentia. But it could well be other Green(e)s. One thing to consider.......I personally have no religious beliefs.....but in looking for genealogy,it can be a great help. For example, there are two major lots of Greenes in Nfld., plus various smaller lots......the two largest are the Point Verde Greenes who have been RC for over 200 years(previously a mix of Quaker & Anglican).....and the Trinity Bay Greenes, who are basically Anglican.###### While not proof, this could give you a hint as to where to look.Another well-known group is at Greenspond area./ Hope this helps in some way.##### If you find your MNary Catherine was RC, I'm quite happy to email you my 235 pages of Greenes,if you have the patience to search it. It is searchable by computer ,of course, but you might have to c heck every Catherine, then every Mary. If Mary Catherine was Anglican or anything else,I'm still happy to email you my files,as they might be of general help v ia the pre-amble. B est of luck....Ward
