George Thomas Crocker (b. August 15, 1837, Bonaventure) married Hannah Gregory (b. January 26, 1842 in Old Perlican to Jane Gregory) on September 10, 1861 in Hant's Harbour.

George Thomas was father of first five brothers, and two sisters, who moved to Swift Current from Lee Bight (Adeytown) in late 1890's. They were George, James, Joseph, John, Norman, Elizabeth (Betsy), and Jane.

Having difficulty tracing George Thomas Crocker's ancestors...believe his father was George (b. October 8, 1805 in Scilly Cove) to a Charles and Elizabeth Crocker of Scilly Cove (now Winterton).

Greatly appreciated if anyone can fill in some missing pieces of this family history.

Our George Crocker was born abt. 1835 in England and later moved to NL, settling in Trinity Bay and later moving to Placentia Bay, NL. How does this data line up with yours?

Hi,

Was your George Crocker married to Elizabeth Groves at St. Paul's C/E Church in Trinity, NF. They were married on 24 December 1844. I can provide info on George's wife Elizabeth. I believe George was the son of John Crocker and Mary Wiseman born 29 January 1822.

Hello,
I am very interested in having the 8 generations back of the Crockers because my Great-Aunt Julie Penney was married to a Piercy from Trinity Bay (I think it was in Hopeall or Old Shop), and they were also related to the Crockers of that area. G-Aunt Julie lived to be around 101 before passing on. She must be deceased around 30 years now. She has a lot of relatives living down in Trinity Bay but I don't know how to reach them. There is a Myrtle Piercy who would be one of G-Aunt Julie's grand-daughter's. I believe she may still be living but getting up in age. She may be living in Dildo with some relatives. I don't think Myrtle was ever married. I want all the information I can get for my family tree. If anyone knows any information about my Great-Aunt Julie Penney-Piercy and her parents please contact me at penney_s@hotmail.com. Her father and mother would be my Great-Grandparents. I do know her parents lived in Greens Harbour at one time but I don't know where they moved from to Greens Harbour. Thank You.

I am hoping that the George David Crocker is my great (great?) grandfather. My nanny was Bessie Crocker Mercer. Does that name come up in your research?
