Ebenezer Pynn was the son of Moses Pynn by his first wife, Mary Ann (no last name). They were married about 1856. Moses later married Mary Sampson about 1872. Their children were Henry (Sept. 8, 1873), Elizabeth (1875), William (1881), Matilda (1884) and Lancelot (Oct 1891). My records show Ebenezer's dob as 1857 and dod as Nov. 18, 1942.

I am researching this family for the gggranddaughter of Lancelot through his daughter Tamar. Tamar and her sister Stella married two brothers (Frederick and Walter Horwood, respectively) of Carbonear.

after many years i'm picking up the research again.

I am trying to find more information on a Mary Maria PYNN who was born in Quirpon in the late 1890's.

Here is what I have on her:

Father is William PYNN.

Mary Maria PYNN, age 21 married Thomas Applin on March 20 1900 is Forster's Point but were living in Genevieve Bay.

Mary Applin married John HUMBER on Feb 19 1912 in New Ferrolle. She was 31.

Maria Humber died in July 15 1923 at age 47 (I believe this age is very wrong). Internment is Gargamelle but died in Port Saunders.

mean anything to anyone ?
