Miss Bertha DAWE was teaching Inuit in a school in Labrador before she left Newfoundland to meet up and marry her fiance Arthur WHALEN in Toronto, Ontario in 1906. Searching for any information on which school it might have been or advice on how to find out. Bertha was born in Port de Grave 1884 and Arthur in Bradley's Cove 1883. Thank you for help.

Bertha WHALEN (nee DAWE) was my grandmother. She and her husband Arthur lived in Toronto Ontario my father Stanley WHALEN was one of their sons.

Sorry, but I don't know anything about the Inuit school in Labrador. I thank you for this little tid bit of information about my grandmother as I did not know she had been a school teacher. I have pictures of her if you are interested.
