This is a compilation of records from the parish records of St.Peter and Paul Parish in the Harbour Main District. Misspelling of names is pretty common in the records so I suspect they wrote the brides name down wrong. The last two sets of names are the witnesses.

Surnames: CULLEN, GUSHUE, McGRATH, PHILLIPS, POWER & WHELAN
Hello sfanning6027,

That was fast, thank you!

I do have the birth details you've included and I did see the marriage details as well, I just figured that it wasn't my GrGranddmother. And, yes, you're so right by saying about names & other details are not always accurate. Also, I'm pretty sure of the genealogy site you found these details as It's a site that is one of my favourite "go to" sites for my search into my many branches & limbs of my family I've been researching.

I'm wondering if you could help with the following names found in this area of NL:
> CULLEN, GUSHUE, McGRATH, PHILLIPS, POWER & WHELAN, of Colliers & Conception Harbour area.

Regards, :)
> McGRATH

I am searching for ANY information on:
John Power born ca 1800 ish in Waterford.
He married Bridget Dunn.
If ANY Power family members have any information on this John Power.
He and Bridget moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia before 1828, and stayed there until 1835.
