I am compiling genealogy documents on (1) All JUDGEs in Newfoundland over past 200 years.Have 68 pages so far.(2) GREENE family of Point Verde,Placentia,Nfld. My GGG-GF,John Green(e) came in from Boston about late 1778 with his brother Robert,who had apparently fought briefly on USA side. John apparently fervent Quaker. They left one brother(name unknown) behind in either Boston or maybe NS,where they also had a home. Greenes have continuously returned to Boston(also NY) since early 1800s.By now there must be THOUSANDS of descendants of these Greenes with alsovarious other surnames through marriage. If you have relatives and ancestors in anyway connected to Greenes and Judges in Nfld,.please contact me.
