I am trying to get Elizabeth ? born 1868 in Nfld. (probably Burin) she married George L Marsh -he was born 1964 in Conn. USA. one son Edgar. in the 1910 us census it states Lillie M Moulton age 20- neice- lived with them - was Eliz. a Moulton- would like to know her maiden name.

Hi there,

I looked at all the census records for the Marsh family in the US.
As Lilla M. Moulton, age 20 "niece" is listed from Canada, it would appear that yes, she would be a niece from Elizabeth's side. Either Elizabeth is a Moulton, OR a sister of hers married a Moulton,

I did see Lilla on passenger list intending to come to the states. She lists herself as a nurse. And that she is indeed from Newfoundland.

Also states on 2 of the census records that Elizabeth immigrated 1898 and other says 1902. 1930 Census tells us that they were married in 1903.

Thank you for your help. I didn't know the marr date, maybe I can tract that down.
