I recently spoke to a lady by the name of Rita Byrne married to a Jack Harrolson.She live's in Winnipeg and is 74 yr's young.She is the daughter to Jim Byrne & Annie Francis (Byrne is also Annie's maiden name)Annie was from Conch and was the daughter to John Byrne & Johanna MacKey.Jim Byrne was the brother to my Grandfather John Joseph Byrne Sr.Which makes him my Greatuncle,and Rita my Great 2nd cousin.(I never new a Greatcousin before it was really cool chatting with her).My Grandfather (married to Mary Ann McCarthy) was the son to William Byrne & Mary Ann Kennedy,they also had children William (married to Bridget also known as Bride who later remarried Anthony McNeil),Jim (married to Annie Francis Byrne),Elizabeth (never married but had a daughter Donna),Margaret (I have no history on) & Alice
(married to JIM CAHILL) form what Rita told me I believe they had children Jim (who still goes by the Cahill name,is 92 yr's young,and he lives in Sydney,NS(he apparently has alot of info on the Byrne & Cahill family.Also there was a set of twin's ...Alfred who goes by the name Alfred Muhr and lives
somewhere in NS.Rita did not remember the other twin's name)...
