Hi again,
I'm doing some quick searches for you. I'm seeing there were several woman, named Mary Minnie WATTS in England around the same time. But, while doing that, I noticed you did not mention the "age" of the child when she arrived in New Brunswick. .. Here is one record which sort of fits in what you stated: There is a lot more information now at
www.familysearch.orgName: Minnie Maria Watts
Event Type: Marriage
Registration Quarter: Jan-Feb-Mar
Registration Year: 1888
Registration District: Bristol
County: Gloucestershire
Event Place: Bristol, Gloucestershire, England

Minnie Maria Watts probably married one of the following people
Name: Sidney Alfred Skidmore
Name: Ann Pridham B Turner
Name: Albert Edward Veale
I just checked one of the BHC data bases, and I'm not finding a female child with the last name of WATTS or WATS in the data base.
I searched one of the BHC data bases, and there were 120 children with the surname, WATTS.

None of the girls, named Mary, match up to your information.
This is one of the BHC web sites. I'll need to go find the more recent one for you.

P.S.
Alternate spelling in the data base was WATSON.
