I have done an initial search into a Charles McConaghy who would be connected distantly through my family tree. If I have the same person, there are perhaps some discrepancies, but that isn't unusual.
I looked at the WWI enlistment record and he initially was listing a brother Robert as next of kin.
In the family census I find parents of James William and Maria B. McConaghy, along with siblings: Hugh Robert, William James, Jr., Mary Elizabeth, Edgar Havelock, and (my relation) Wesley A.
It is also interesting to note that the 1901 Census of Canada which put birth date and year, has this Charles McConaghy exactly 10 years older than what is listed on the WWI enlistment paper.
I hope this is of some help. I think there may have also been another McConaghy family from Marysville, also, but I haven't gone too deep in this line at this time.
