According to, “Généalogie-acadienne” at:
http://www.genealogie-acadienne.net/?action=search&nomFa...Lazare Lirette (15APR1842-APR1926) was the son of Laurent (1813-1900) Lirette and of Marie-Blanche Landry (1815-1899). Sarah is given as born in Québec 14JUL1844.
The family seems to be the same in 1861, in Shediac Parish, Westmorland Co., NB as at:
http://www.bac-http://data2.collectionscanada.gc.ca/1861/jpg...The family name is transcribed as ‘Linel’, making it a bit hard to find. I will leave it to you to make something of the faded writing, but the parents seem to be ‘Lorang’ (59) and Mary (50) with one child something like Lazareus (15?, 28 in transcription).
Sarah is sometimes Sarah Wood, as in the baptism of their son, Thomas Charles Lirette, Saint-Timothee, Shemogue, Westmorland Co., NB 18CT1876. See also:
