I have a photo of a class gathered on the front steps of a one-room schoolhouse that was taken by my grandmother, Caroline White Rogers. She signed it with "Miss Waldron & Class New Zion 1910". There are seventeen people in the photo two of whom at the ends of the back row who appear to be adult females, perhaps teachers, both in long black skirts and white long-sleeve blouses. The rest are youngsters ranging from very young to almost teen-age. The little boys all have hats on of varying types. They are a group of charming, fresh faced nice little kids.
If anyone knows Miss Waldron or thinks they may have had a youthful ancestor living and attending school in New Zion in 1910 and thinks they might be able to identify any of them I would be willing to send an image.
