The information of John Wood and Dorothy Stennick is very interesting. I found a PDF file that mentions them.

Alonzo was in the 1901 Census for Saint John, NB. His father is listed as John Wood but his mother's name is vague being given as ____ Chapman. NB Land Grants list several John Woods in the 1795 grant. There were also Chapmans, but nothing further to connect the dots to go back further. He is listed as being English. That does not mean he did not come from Massachusetts or Nova Scotia prior to that. It says that she was from King's County, NB.
Would anyone have any additional details on this family?
Mrs. P. Wood
