The Bridges line that I am connected to went to Sheffield, Sunbury County from Marblehead Mass I believe. Some of the Bridges line headed to Lakeville, (Carleton County) and then some headed to Aroostook County Maine. I was at the cemetary in Sheffield today and the mosquitos darn near carried me away! I got a few pics there also. Would like to head from any Bridges connected to Samuel. Sons were John Holland,Hannah, Samuel, Jonathan, Thomas, Elizabeth and maybe Sally. I have information that may be of interest to you and maybe you have info for me. I am looking for the birth parents of Samuel b1750 d1811 and buried in Sheffield, I believe he was born in Marblehead Mass. I found where Joseph Clark Stickney was appointed guardian to Samuel in Mass when he was 15 years old. Joseph was the uncle of Samuel's wife, Sarah Stickney.

I think this may be related to a family I'm researching. I'm trying to find the descendant lines of Jonathan BRIDGES who was born c. 1786 in Sunbury County. I don't know his parent's names. He married Jain Ferguson Harrison on Aug 20, 1818 and died in 1852. If you are descended from this family or know anything about their children, I'd be interested in sharing. I'm currently doing a rather large descendancy project on the HARRISON line.

Thanks

Jonathan Bridges born abt 1785 dMay 14, 1852 married Jane Ferguson Harrison. Jonathan's father was Samuel Bridgesb1750 d1811 married to Sarah Stickney. They married 1776 in Rowley Mass. I have a fair amount of information that I am still putting together and recording sources. Jonathan's brothers and sisters were: John Holland Bridges, Hannah Saunders Bridges, Samuel Bridges, Thomas Bridges,Betsy Bridges, Sarah Bridges and perhaps one more sister than I am not sure of. I have pics of Samuel and Sarahs graves in Sheffield, New Brunswick. My main concentration lately has been finding Samuel's parents. Contact me and I will try to fill in some of the blanks for you. lezlie
